*UW Bean Team (Mark Kendall, Tatiane Severo Silva, Ophelia Tsai), Dane County (81.34 bu/a with Dyna-Gro S21EN81). The UW Bean Team attained the 2nd highest yield in the Planting Green category. The UW Bean Team is made up of Dr. Conley’s graduate students and postdocs, who make all agronomic decisions for their entry. While they aren’t eligible for official prizes, their efforts are still recognized unofficially.
The contest is sponsored by the WI Soybean Program and organized to encourage the development of new and innovative management practices and to show the importance of using sound cultural practices in WI soybean production.
